Wagamama High Spec [PCSG01084] Full English Patch v 1.0.0 [Vita]

This is an English port of the same name on the PC. While the PC version is R18+ the Vita version is family friendly or whatever you call them. So that means some lines are removed or changed between the two versions. Nothing Groundbreaking or heavy story, just your run in the mill light-hearted Visual Novel.

What’s translated:
All Images that contain text used in menu’s and such
All Regular Text

Known bugs that exist even on the base unmodified game:
Navigating the BGM on music mode seems buggy using the D-pad and you’ll not able to select some BGM.
Use the touch screen to select the BGM’s

– Hacked Vita (Enso/h-encore)
– Repatch plugin installed on the Vita
– NoNpDrm plugin installed on the Vita
– Vitashell
– FTP program
– This English patch

How to patch:

1. Using Vitashell browse gro0:app/ (if cart) or ux0:app/ (if a PSN game).
2. Highlight PCSG01084 folder and press Triangle -> then select Open decrypted.
3. Press Select and connect Via FTP.
4. Using your favorite FTP application on the PC,
browse gro0:app/PCSG01084 (if cart) or ux0:app/PCSG01084 (if a PSN game)
5. Copy root.pfs to the PC
6. Patch the decrypted root.pfs using xdelta3
7. Copy root.pfs to ux0:repatch/PCSG01084/root.pfs
8. Play the game.

Additional Notes:
– Be sure to install a rePatch compatibility pack in your Vita is on 3.60
– If you are having a hard time getting on a specific route, there are a lot of walkthroughs out there or head to fuwanovel.
– If there are major text bug’s and you want it fixed, contact me and send a screenshot of it or the text before or after the text bug.

    I’ve followed the instructions very closely and I got my copy directly from NoPayStation.
    Or is it possible that you could turn this into a repatch patch?

    1. be sure you have decrypted root.pfs or it will fail the checksum, also when transferring the decrypted file using FTP be sure to use Winscp as Filezilla is prone to corruption when doing file transfer.

  3. Hi, I actually just found out that you had a site after searching. Already left a comment on the youtube video though. Sorry. I’m having the same issue as WHIMSICALCOTTON. Can’t for the life of me get the patch to work ^.^; ,

    Loving this site though, wow you’ve done a lot of good work, I’ve had a lot to install and test out tonight. Your patched for Gun Gun Pixies, Senran Kagura, Akiba Strip, Liar Princess and Musou Stars are awesome to have! Wasn’t expecting to have those. Bookmarked your site, hope you keep up your love for the vita hacking scene.

    1. What firmware are you on your vita? if you’re on 3.65/3.68 firmware or have ref00d, delete the eboot.bin, self_auth.bin and sce_module folder from the ux0:repatch/PCSG01084/

    2. I’m on 3.65 and removed all the files except the root.pfs, the game still won’t load. Game only loads if I remove the root.pfs from the repatch file but without the patch kinda defeats the purpose. Not sure if I’m just doing the patch wrong or what’s going on.

      1. If that’s the case then the only problem I’m seeing is file corruption.

        You can try checking the md5 hash of the root.pfs on the vita after copying it and it should has a md5 hash of 2d93357c0cf3d9a912645d917620ce6e

        1. Never ran an md5 hash directly on the vita before is that just repatch/pcsg01084/root.pfs, triangle, more, calculate sha1?

          If so I get: A6B86CAB6308A38392D9985C56D42CFB705669F1.

          So definitely not the same.

          What do I do if it is corruption on the patch? I have tried patching it multiple times just in case that was the problem before. I’ve also tried redownloading the game from nopaystation and a different copy from nicoblog. Neither worked.

          1. So you are using xdelta patching it yourself?

            is the A6B86CAB6308A38392D9985C56D42CFB705669F1 hash if from the vita? or from the one you patched from the PC? try checking the root,pfs on your PC is 2d93357c0cf3d9a912645d917620ce6e if it is then there’s probably a file corruption during file transfer to the vita (USB/FTP) or you have bad sectors on your MMC/sd2vita.

            if the root.pfs on your PC is still A6B86CAB6308A38392D9985C56D42CFB705669F1 then its a problem on applying the xdelta patch.

Well like WHIMSICALCOTTON said I was getting the same xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT when I tried running the xdeltaUI.exe and going to apply patch to root.pfs that I copied directly from my copy of the game that I got from nopaystation. So I would put root.xdelta in Patch, root.pfs as source file, and try to output the patched root.pfs file for the game… that gave me the xdelta checksum mismatch error. So then I thought that well maybe that tab for create patch needed to be used so I took the copy of root.pfs from the nopaystation copy of the game again and added it to the create patch tab original file, root.xdelta to modified file, then set the output patch… that produced a result so I thought that was right thing to do. Then I thought I needed to apply that patch so I ran it through the apply patch tab and this time no checksum error. That’s how I ended up with the files I was using of course I’ve tried various other methods. I’ve been troubleshooting this for hours with different copies of the games from different sources and re-downloading clean files just in case something might have been corrupted.

    Yes the hash was from the vita itself, I can check it on my pc when I get home. Hope there’s not a bad sector on my memory card. I’ll let you know later tonight, I won’t be off work for 7 hrs so I don’t have access to my original files.

  5. Hey Froid, just got home and ran a SHA1 checksum on that root.pfs checksum, it matched the file on my vita. Thankfully it looks like there’s no corruption during transfer or bad sectors on my card. But that does mean there’s a problem applying the xdelta patch. Sorry for all the trouble, really appreciating your help though :).

  6. Will be possible upload the game already patched?
    I download the game using PKGJ and the hash1 of root.pfs start with 9d9……etc.
    I´m just tired trying to patch and play this game…

  8. Master, any chance to release a patch for The Witch’s Love Diary (Majo Koi Nikki – 魔女こいにっき)?
    SP is going to release the english version this month.

    1. It depends entirely on the file difference between platform if its doable or not.
      Guess the only way to find out is to wait for the PC version to be released in a few days.
