Omega Labyrinth Z [JP] [English Full fan translation] [Vita] [PS4]

This is a long-overdue project that I’ve plan to work on after helping out with the original Omega labyrinth back in 2018. It’s a simple enough game to mod since it’s made in unity where tools are everywhere, so this game was always on the back of my mind. So after being on hiatus for more than a year without making another translation/port project due to my Hard drive dying on me. I decided to make this my first project for 2021. And also, a certain user keeps nagging me to translate this one lols. There’s also a localized Omega labyrinth Life on witch and PC, so I’ve borrowed some official terms used by the game and some item translation, and the rest of the text/story are translated from scratch.

Changelog: v0.95 (Vita Only)

What’s translated or fixed:
○ Fixed Blank book to accept English keyboard input text.
○ Added Black book input translations.
○ Added Black book acceptable input text guide in the in-game manual (page 24-28)
○ 100% Sage trials description translation.
○ 100% Bestiary translation.
○ Included Censored or Uncensored selection in the patcher.
○ All translations from v0.91

What’s translated:
○ All Story text

○ All Abilities/description text
○ All Items/weapons/shield/armor names/description text

What’s NOT translated:
○ Trophies (Don’t want to be liable if you get a ban on translated trophies, so it’s left as it is)
○ Digital game manual, bubble title, and such.
○ The moans and short phrases the characters say during awakenings/rescue
○ The remaining 5% of the enemy description
○ The remaining 4% of dungeon description (haven’t finished the sage trails yet.)

○ Hacked Vita (Enso/h-encore 3.60/3.65/3.68)
○ Repatch plugin (installed on the Vita and verified working) (rePatch does not work on 3.73)
○ NoNpDrm plugin (installed on the Vita and verified working)

○ Vitashell
○ FTP program (Winscp recommended)

There are no full games here, Please do not make a request. If you cannot follow the instruction on how to dump and patch your own game, please check elsewhere like google or reddit for those pre-patched files.

Files linked are xdelta differences patch files, it does not contain games nor resembles game codes or contents and won’t function or usable on their own. You must have a hacked console to be able to dump your own game for these patch files to work and use the mods.

[VITA] Instruction on dumping your game and applying the patch (Windows):

  • Chapter 1: Preparing
    01. Install the Game on your Vita or insert cart and also install the game update v1.01
    03. Verify if your game version is 1.01.
    03. Test the game if it’s working fine.
    04. Extract English patch archive to a folder. ex: “OLZ_patcher_v0.95”
  • Chapter 2: Decrypting game files via Vitashell
    01. Using Vitashell browse gro0:app/ (if cart) or ux0:app/ (if a PSN game)
    02. Highlight the PCSG00939 folder and press Triangle -> then select Open decrypted Press Select and connect Via FTP
    03. Using your favorite FTP application on the PC, browse gro0:app/PCSG00939/Media (if cart) ux0:app/PCSG00939/Media (if a PSN game)
    04. Copy sharedassets0.assets.resS file to the PC (OLZ_patcher_v0.95\decrypted_data folder)
    05. While still on Vitashell browse ux0:patch folder
    06. Highlight the PCSG00939 folder again and press Triangle -> then select Open decrypted Press Select and connect Via FTP
    07. Back to the FTP application on the PC, browse ux0:patch/PCSG00939/Media
    08. Copy resources.assets file to the PC (OLZ_patcher_v0.95\decrypted_data folder)
  • Chapter 3: Patching decrypted asset
    01. Run [Apply_ENG_patch_v0.91_to_decrypted_asset], follow its instruction and wait for it to finish patching.
  • Chapter 4: How to install
    1. Copy the [repatch] folder inside the [Copy_to_VITA_ux0] folder to the ux0: partition of your Vita.
    Be sure to have NoNpDrm and rePatch plugin (v3.0) properly installed and working.
    2. Run the game.

PS4 Requirements:
○ Hacked PS4
○ PS4 Patch Builder 1.2 (for easy to make fake game updates)
○ Fake_PKG_Generator_3.38 (for manual fake game updates)
○ gengp4 (for manual fake game updates)
○ Game dump + game update 1.01 (merged or not)
○ This English patch

    01. Browse the “Image0\Media\” folder extracted by “PS4 Patch Builder 1.2”
    02. Copy both resources.assets and sharedassets0.assets.resS and paste them to the OLZ_patcher_v0.95\decrypted_data folder
    03. Run [Apply_ENG_patch_v0.91_to_decrypted_asset], follow its instruction and wait for it to finish patching.
    04. A folder with the name “CUSA05668-patch” will be created containing the patched files
  • Chapter 4: Repacking the Fake game update
    01. Browse “OLZ_patcher_v0.95\CUSA05668-patch\Media\” folder
    02. Copy both patched resources.assets and sharedassets0.assets.resS and paste them back to “Image0\Media\”

[Optional] Fix game name:
it seems that “PS4 Patch Builder 1.2” does not support Japanese character names when modifying the param.sfo edit the param.sfo using “orbis-pub-sfo” that is bundled with “Fake_PKG_Generator_3.38”
a. Extract “Fake_PKG_Generator_3.38” and run “orbis-pub-sfo”
b. Drag and drop your param.sfo located on the “Sc0” folder to the “Param File Edior for PS4” Window (orbis-pub-sfo)
c. Click “Title Text” tab and Change the game name from “オメガラビリンスZ” to “Omega Labyrinth Z” or whatever
d. Click “File” -> “Save” and exit the application
If you decide to skip this step, the game name will display as オメガラビリンスZ on the PS4

03. Now back to “PS4 Patch Builder 1.2”, close the File Selector window
04. Drag and drop the “Image0” to the “Project Location” box
05. Drag n drop you merged game + update on the “Package Settings” box
06. Change the Update version to “1.02”
07. Click on “Build Package” and wait for a minute or two
08. A JP0367-CUSA05668_00-0000000000000002-A0102-V0100.pkg will be created.

  • Chapter 5: How to install
    01. Copy the JP0367-CUSA05668_00-0000000000000002-A0102-V0100.pkg to your external storage
    02. Activate HEN/JB or whatever it is called on your PS4 and install the fake game update pkg
    03. Run the game

08. Click “Start” and wait for a minute or two
09. You’ll have a “Image0” and a “Sc0” folder after exporting
10. Rename “Sc0” folder to “sce_sys”
11. Rename “Image0” folder to “CUSA05668-patch”
12. Move “sce_sys” inside the “CUSA05668-patch” folder

  • Chapter 3: Patching decrypted asset
     01. Browse the “CUSA05668-patch\Media\” folder extracted by “orbis-pub-chk”
    02. Copy both resources.assets and sharedassets0.assets.resS and paste them to the OLZ_patcher_v0.95\decrypted_data folder
    03. Run [Apply_ENG_patch_v0.91_to_decrypted_asset], follow its instruction and wait for it to finish patching.
    04. A folder with the name “CUSA05668-patch” will be created containing the patched files
  • Chapter 4: Repacking the Fake game update
    01. Copy the “CUSA05668-patch” folder and overwrite your “OLZ\CUSA05668-patch” folder
    02. Extract “gengp4.exe” from “ps4-dumper-vtx” and run the application.
    03. Click the “Folder Open button Icon” and brose to your “OLZ\CUSA05668-patch” folder
    04. Click “Generate .GP4” and then “Save .GP4” and exit the application
    05. Run “orbis-pub-sfo”
    06. Drag and drop your param.sfo located on your “OLZ\CUSA05668-patch\sce_sys” folder to the “Param File Edior for PS4” Window (orbis-pub-sfo)
    07. Edit the “Application Version (APP_VER)” to “1.02”
    08. Click “File” -> “Save” and exit the application
    09. Run “orbis-pub-gen” application, click File -> Open -> Browse to the CUSA05668-patch.gp4 you’ve just saved.
    10. On “Command(C)” -> “Project Settings(P)” -> “Patch” tab -> Select your merged game + update pkg in this case JP0367-CUSA05668_00-0000000000000002-A0101-V0100.pkg and press “OK”
    11. Select “Build”
    12. On the Outpur Path(pkg) Select the folder you want to save the pkg, in this case “OLZ\” folder it will auto name a pkg to JP0367-CUSA05668_00-0000000000000002-A0102-V0101.pkg
    13. A JP0367-CUSA05668_00-0000000000000002-A0102-V0101.pkg will be created.
  • Chapter 5: How to install
     01. Copy the JP0367-CUSA05668_00-0000000000000002-A0102-V0101.pkg to your external storage
    02. Activate HEN/JB or whatever it is called on your PS4 and install the fake game update pkg
    03. Run the game

 

Additional Notes:
○ Oh, yeah. This is also my first ever full fan translation project in English, and English is not my native language so please be easy on me.
○ On the Vita patch I was testing out a fog uncensor and add some nipple mods, it was too troublesome to make since I barely know how to use blender
but still manage to make a few nipple mods for normal size breast. Since it’s too troublesome to make and I got too lazy to remove them. So yeah enjoy
your nipples and nipple-less boobs. PS4 patch remains censored.
○ Vitashell “Open decrypted” feature only works via FTP mode and would not work while in USB mode.
○ If there are major bugs and you want it to be fixed, contact me and send a screenshot of it or the text before or after the text bug.
